After the New Year has passed, school started, with a lot of struggles kids were back to their regime of waking up early and actually doing studies not only play times, I finally figure out that it is already beginning of February. Of course after abandoning my little routines, my skin was looking a little bit too dull and dry. And of course the first thing I had in my mind is what do I use fast, right from home to make it feel and look better. I did some really nice mixture of ingredients and the actual face mask appeared to be really awesome.
It is super simple to do, but you will need a kaolin (white clay) for that. If you have pink or green clay it’s also good. I had kaolin so I used it. Then you need aloe vera juice, base oils (rosehip, macadamia), honey (manuka is the best, but any good quality honey will fit), and essential oils (optional, however I love to add few drops of Frankincense and Copaiba).
Recipe:
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of aloe vera juice
- 1 teaspoon of rosehip oil
- 1 teaspoon of macadamia nut oil
- 5-6 teaspoons of kaolin (or until desired consistency)
- 3 drops of capaiba essential oil
- 3 drops of frankincense essential oil
Mix it all nicely until creamy. Apply on a face and leave for 15-20 mins, then wash it off or wipe off. Apply your moisturizer as usual.
A little tip, if you can enjoy at the same time a nice aromatic bath, this will literally create a mini SPA atmosphere at home. Stay creative.
